Product Introduction
Trnnion ball valveis a high-performance ball valve, suitable for high pressure and large diameter occasions. Its design features include a floating valve seat.The valve seat will move when the medium pressure acts, so that the sealing ring is pressed against the ball, thus ensuring the sealing effect. Trunnion ball valves are usually equipped with bearings on the upper and lower shafts of the ball, with small operating torque and suitable for high-pressure and large-diameter valves. are structurally designed to perform well in high pressure and large bore pipes.
Product Advantages
1. Trunnion ball valves usually have two valve body structures: two-piece and three-piece. The middle flange is connected by bolts. The seal uses RPTFE, PPL, PEEK, metal, etc. embedded in the stainless steel ring. There is a spring at the rear of the steel ring to ensure that the valve seat is close to the ball and remains sealed. The upper and lower valve stem are equipped with PTFE bearings to reduce friction and save labor in operation.
2. When the trunnion ball valve is working, all the force generated by the fluid pressure in front of the valve on the ball is transmitted to the bearing, which will not cause the ball to move towards the valve seat. So, the valve seat will not bear excessive pressure. This design makes the trunnion ball valve have small torque, small seat deformation, stable sealing performance and long service life.

Each valve has two seats and can be sealed in every direction, so the installation has no flow direction restriction and is bi-directional. Trunnion ball valves have two structures: a valve seat sealed in front of the ball and a valve seat sealed behind the ball. When the former is closed, the valve seat at the inlet end is pressed to the ball by medium pressure to achieve sealing; When the latter is closed, the medium pressure causes the rear valve seat of the ball to press the ball to ensure sealing.
The resistance coefficient of the trunnion ball valve is equal to that of the pipe section of the same length, which means that it produces less resistance during the fluid transmission process, which is conducive to improving the efficiency of the system.
The trunnion ball valve has an automatic pressure relief function. When the pressure in the valve cavity increases abnormally, the trunnion ball valve has an automatic pressure relief function. It can achieve the pressure relief effect by retreating the valve seat away from the ball, and automatically reset after the pressure is released.
