Product Introduction
The closure element of a wedge gate valve is a wedge-like shape. The purpose of using a wedge shape is to increase the auxiliary sealing load, so that metal-sealed wedge gate valves can seal under both high and low medium pressure. In this way, the potential sealing degree that a metal-sealed wedge gate valve can achieve is higher than that of an ordinary metal-sealed parallel gate valve.

1. The sealing principle of a wedge gate valve relies on the tight engagement between the two sealing surfaces on the wedge gate and the two sealing surfaces on the valve body.

Q1: Do gate valves have low fluid resistance?
A1: The medium channel inside the gate valve body is straight, and the flow direction does not change when the medium flows through, so the fluid resistance is small.
Q2: Is the opening and closing torque of the gate valve large?
A2: When the gate valve is opened and closed, the movement direction of the gate plate is perpendicular to the direction of medium flow, which is more labor-saving than the gold valve.
